A Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program allows the State of Michigan to work in cooperation with locals government to minimize environmental impacts to surface waters of the state from township-owned properties.
Chesterfield Township coordinates with the Clinton River Watershed Council (CRWC) on all education and outreach activities. Education starts with educating township employees and includes residents on how to be more conscientious of our waterways and keeping them clean.
