Chesterfield Township has contracted with Green for Life (GFL) to dispose of residential mixed waste, recyclables, and yard waste.

Yard Waste is picked up seasonally from early April to early December.  
2023 Yard Waste Collection Dates: March 27 - early December 2023

Senior Discount and Veteran Discount

Residents that have attained the age of 65 and Veteran’s of the US Armed Forces that have been honorably discharged and provide proof are eligible for a 5% discount per month.

Senior and Veteran Discount Form

Applications forms can be submitted in person at the Chesterfield Township Municipal Offices at the Treasurer’s  counter or over at the Department of Public Works. Once a form is submitting, it will be effective throughout the contract term with GFL.

What proof is needed?
Seniors Bring: A valid Driver License or State Issued ID
Veteran’s Bring: A valid Driver License or State Issued ID and Honorable Discharge Papers or Veteran’s Card

The Chesterfield Township Board of Trustees approved a new five (5) year agreement with Green For Life Environmental INC. (GFL) at the December 17, 2018 Board of Trustees meeting.  This new agreement goes into effect January 1, 2019.
