Our Parks
Brandenburg Park - 50050 Jefferson Avenue
Brandenburg Park is a waterfront park positioned
on the shoreline of beautiful Anchor Bay. One of the
jewels of the Township, this 17 acre parcel is
located on Jefferson Avenue about ½ Mile south of 23
Mile Road. It offers basketball courts, tennis
courts, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits,
picnic areas, boat launches, restroom facilities, a
children’s play area, a hike/bike path and a 500
foot pier extending into Lake St. Clair. In
addition, it has 4 open air pavilions and a building
that accommodates 70 people all of which are
available for rent.

Pollard Park – 55550 New Haven Road
Pollard Park is approximately 128 acres in size
located just west of I-94 on the north side of New
Haven Road. Its inception was made possible due to
volunteer efforts and generous donations of area
businessman. Today the park is a hub of athletic
activity. It’s home to the majority of the
Township’s baseball and flag football leagues as
well as a variety of toddler sports programming.
It’s host to the annual Easter Egg Scramble and to
countless other invitational tournaments and special
events. Its amenities include 5 baseball diamonds (3
lighted), 4 soccer fields (2 lighted), restroom
facilities, a small playscape, open air pavilion and
hike/bike path. Fields are available for rent to
area clubs and organizations beginning the 1st of
each year and at the discretion of the Parks and
Recreation Director.

Veteran’s Memorial Park – 46000 Community Center
Drive
Our newest developed park, Veteran’s Memorial
Park, is approximately 7 acres in size and dedicated
to those who have served in the armed forces. It has
5 decorative trees representing each branch of the
armed services and a refurbished Howitzer Cannon
strategically placed at park entry. This quiet
neighborhood park has a small-scale playscape along
with swing sets and picnic areas.
Connie M. Bowles Memorial Park – 30200 25 Mile
Road
Currently undeveloped, Connie M. Bowles Park sits
on 12+ acres of land located on the south side of 25
Mile Road and east of Gratiot Avenue. Its
construction plan includes an open playfield,
baseball diamond, picnic grove, nature area with
observation deck, and a children’s play area.
Chesterfield Road
Located on Chesterfield Road, South of 25 Mile
sits Chesterfield Township’s newest addition of
parkland. This 17+ acres of land was considered
Federal surplus property and acquired for public
park and recreational use in perpetuity. In 2007,
Chesterfield Township formally took ownership of
this property from the United States Department of
the Interior, National Park Service.
Municipal Offices Complex – 47275 Sugarbush Road
With over 30 acres of land and located on
Sugarbush Road, north of 21 Mile and South of Cotton
Roads, the Chesterfield Township Municipal Offices
provides a unique opportunity for residents to
conduct business transactions and enjoy recreational
activities in one great location! The complex is
home to the Senior Center an indoor complex
providing structured/unstructured activities for
older adults. Equipped with computer workstations,
exercise equipment, books, games, lounge area, a
full-service kitchen and more the Senior Center is a
hub of activity for our older friends. This location
also has 4 tee-ball fields, a perimeter hike/bike
path with bench seating, and is the only Township
owned property where walking your four-legged friend
is permitted.
